Wanna watch these 7!

NOWHERE BOY
Ok, its impossible that any other Beatles fan in the world not to be looking forward to this. Aaron Johnson as John Lennon, Thomas Sangster as Pail McCartney, Sam Bell as George Harrison, Kristin Scott Thomas as Mary Smith and Anne-Marie Duff as Julia Lennon. A biopic mainly on John Lennon and how The Beatles started. As a big fan (thanks to my dad for the influence), this is a must! Ah, so excited! Directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, screenplay by Matt Greenhalgh and memoir by Julie Baird)

THE GREATEST
Ok, I must have something for Aaron Johnson as he is in this movie too. This movie was released last year but it was so hard to find it here! A story about a brief relationship between Rose (Carey Mulligan) and Bennett (Aaron Johnson). Bennett passed in an accident but Rose remained safe, which Bennett's mother, Grace (Susan Sarandon) solely blamed her on her son's death. Bennett's father, Allen (Pierce Brosnan) though trusted Rose who is pregnant of 3 months. Directedand and written by Shana Feste.

PEACOCK
Now here is where I call a great Mind Thriller. Now I'm feeling I'm watching every Susan Sarandon's movie as she's in this on. What are the odds for the linking? Anyway, A Nebraska bank clerk finds his tenuous grip on reality slipping after a freak train accident reveals his deepest secret to the entire community. John Skillpa (Cillian Murphy) is a reserved bank teller living in the tight-knit community of Peacock. He may live by himself, but he's never alone; John has two personalities. His alter ego is Emma, but Emma has always been a well-kept secret -- until now. When a passing caboose jumps the rails and comes slamming through John's backyard, the neighbors all race to his aid and are surprised to find Emma wandering about dazed and confused. Instinctively assuming Emma to be John's wife, they rally around the Skillpas in support. But the harder they try to get closer to Emma, the deeper John slips into psychosis. The key to his mystery-shrouded past resting in the hands of young, overburdened mother Maggie (Ellen Page), John finds his two personalities clashing as his fragile deception becomes ever more difficult to maintain. Susan Sarandon, Keith Carradine, Bill Pullman, and Josh Lucas co-star. Directed by Michael Lander, written by Michae Lander Ryan O'Roy.

BRICK
For the love of Joseph Gordon Levitt he is too cute! And this film was released in 2005. I'm breaking a leg to find the DVD and its tough as it is one of those underrated movies. Now what you see in stores are merely blockbusters. The lonely teenager Brendan (Joseph Gordon Levitt) finds his former girlfriend Emily (Emilie De Ravin) dead in the entrance of a tunnel of sewage and recalls her phone call two days ago, when she said to him that she was in trouble. Brendan, who still loved Emily, met bad elements of his high-school trying to contact her, and when he succeeded, she told him that she was OK. He hides her body in the tunnel and decides to investigate the meaning and connection of four words, including "brick" and "pin", that Emily told him to find who killed her. Using the support of his nerd friend Brain (Matt O'Leary), he successively meets the small time drug dealers Kara (Meagan Goode), Dode (Noah Segan), Brad Bramish (Brian White), Laura (Nora Zehetner) and Tugger (Noah Fleiss), to reach the teenager powerful drug dealer The Pin. Slowly, Brendan unravels the motives why Emily was killed and plots a revenge. Directed and written by Rian Johnson.

BRIGHT STAR
Everybody loves a good love story and the fact that its a true story just wanna make you snuggle in smile. A secret love affair begins between 23 year-old English poet, John Keats (Ben Whishaw), and the girl next door, Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish), an out-spoken student of high fashion. This unlikely pair begin at odds, he thinking her a stylish minx, while she was unimpressed not only by his poetry but also by literature in general. However, when Fanny heard that Keats was nursing his seriously ill younger brother, her efforts to help touched Keats and when she asked him to teach her about poetry he agreed. The poetry soon became a romantic remedy that worked not only to sort their differences, but also to fuel an impassioned love affair. When Fanny's alarmed mother and Keats' best friend finally awoke to their attachment, the relationship had an unstoppable momentum. Intensely and helplessly absorbed in each other, the young lovers were swept deeply into powerful new sensations, "I have the feeling as if we're dissolving," Keats wrote to her. Together they rode a wave of romantic obsession that only deepened as their troubles mounted. When Keats fell ill a year later, the two young lovers faced no marriage but separation. In Keats' own poignant words, "forever panting and forever young." The drama based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25. Directed, written and screenplay by Jane Campion and biography by Andrew Motion.

LOVE AT FIRST HICCUP
Everybody loves a good teen romance and this is by far the absolute perfect compared to other's teen romance we have today. Very real, very fresh. LOVE AT FIRST HICCUP is a charming, innocent, and intelligent romantic comedy about the freshman Victor who has contracted a case of Anya-itis (acute and incurable love-passion for high school senior Anya). And why shouldn't he? She is beautiful and popular. Rich but incredibly sweet with a rare innocence. In other words: Way out of Victor's league. Unfortunately Anya also dates a rich guy, Peter, who drives a fancy lotus and has a stuffed Gucci wallet. However chance meetings riddled with awkward hiccups soon makes sparks fly between Anya and Victor. Maybe Victor's shy and goofy charm can beat out Peters arrogance? Don't worry, seems typical but watch the trailer, you'll see what I mean with real and fresh. Directed by Barbara Topsee-Rothenborg, writen by Soren Frellesen and Barbara Topsee-Rothenberg and book by Dennis Jurgensen.

WELCOME TO THE RILEYS
Ah, I wanna watch this one badly! Looks good! Starring James Gandolfini as Doug Riley and Melissa Leo as Lois Riley, a married couple who had lost their teenage daughter. Doug went on a business trip to New Orleans and met with a teen stripper, Mallory played by Kristen Stewart. He cared for Mallory as she somehow sees his daughter in her and through her he seeks salvation. He was on the road to pick up his life and his wife's back on track, moving on from their trapped life through Mallory. Directed by Jake Scott and written by Ken Hixon.

Cant wait to watch all these!

The Day I met THE ONE - Fossil

I've never dreamed at all that I would meet Fossil. Usually, I went by Fossil without even a glance.

I ran into Alpha Angle and decided a person who screamed annoyingly "Murah kak murah beli beli!" shut off my feeling on even buying a small stiffin
g shoe. I mean this is not the night market so don't make it sound like one. I don't know why the mak cik's even bothered to see whats there. If it were mama I would certainly hear "Tak mau lah, semua orang dah beli, tak kan nak sama ramai-ramai. Nanti orang tau beli dekat mana, harga berapa. Tak sedap lah." Love my mum for her enclosure towards this because true, I have seen 20 person on the Cashier buying the same frigging bag and you don't really want to have the same frigging bag as those 20 people. If you do, then you need to imply a serious ego boost.

Going out of Alpha Angle, empty handed but a McFlurry Oreo. Oh just so lovely! Sarcastically but McFlurry Oreo IS good.

I wasn't satisfied. I haven't met THE ONE. So I said to
my sister, "Ain, hantar pergi Wangsa Maju station LRT, nak pergi KLCC. Sorang." Yes, alone I went to the Shopping Lobby of the Twin Towers Kuala Lumpur. I walk and walk and see I see, windows by windows. House of Leather was the first store I've entered. Cute guy, cute stuffs, but not THE ONE. It was pretty but you know when there were pretty things you just go 'Meh'.

I went out and saw a store named Fossil, and remembered how mama wanted a bag from the store. I was curious, pretty meh or pretty wow? And there I see it. A Camel colored Kenya Clutch, sitting there smiling as heaven throned my snugglish heart. Oh my oh my! I checked on the price, frigging RM 239! In my mind, "Matilah aku kalau beli ni!" The shop assistant gave me a good news, "This one we have promotion for 30%. And the promotion starts today until the end of August." Was I lucky or was I lucky?! But then, I have shoes to take care of. Darn it! I left Fossil, feeling sad. But then heads up high, I will find T
HE ONE, even if it feels I have left it at Fossil.

I went to Everlast, oh my my, cute shoes. And somehow, it pulled me to buy those simple shoes. Because it was incredibly comfy! Chaching, goes my money. Okay, now what? Okay, I went to Kinokuniya. Wanted to find 'Water for Elephants from Sara Gruen'. Last month, it was sold out, and it was again, luckily, a new arrival. Yay! Chaching no 2, book!

But I still can't get off my mind on Fossil. The clutches at Isetan, Guess, Parkson, Harrods, British India, House of Leather, Roxy just doesn't sum up to the precious Camel Clutch in Fossil. I started counting and counting and WHAT THE HELL, I'M BUYING THAT BEAUTY!

Maybank, I went. Money out money in. Done. And there I was back at Fossil. "I want this," I said to the shop assistant. "After discount will be RM 167," took it obviously and I went out of Fossil a happy girl.

And thats the story on how I met Fossil. Below is the pic of the precious camel Clutch, THE ONE. :)
