CFS IIUM - Feelings For It on Sem 1

At first it was like, "Thank God there are hope for Foundation!"

Then, "Alamak, kena pakai tudung la ni..."

Third, it was all, "Fuck it."

My first thought of the Uni was, "Hmph..." because its three different eras (or something) I've been here for legitimate reason and the third was legitimately of me, only me.

First appreciation in Uni, "Thank God lecturer cool sume!"

Second appreciation, "Thank God, Roomies, Classmates, Friends, Too cool!" Yeah I used the term cool a bit much, boo hoo.

Third appreciation, "Thank God dapat Khadijah College, Zainab College sengsara, baju sampai lutut baru boleh kuar bilik and fellow sangat busy body! I've met the Principle of Mahallah Khadijah with skinnies and blouse 5 inches above knee and she said nothing but, 'Hello Liyana, how are you?' while Zainab College 'Sis, pakai baju tu tak menutup aurat, kalau awak college ni saya dah saman.' WTF?!"

And then the exam went in and well I did okay. And then final went in and shit I didn't learn but bits. And then holiday came in interrupted by results which was fine but could have been better, got Dean's List which I thought was a bad thing. Haha. I am thankful, very much.

Now, of course IIUM is international ISLAMIC University Malaysia, but trust me, its not just about the religion itself but understanding the revolution around it and life, which is honestly is even better than the Ustazahs in my high school preaches. The "Kamu mesti sembahyang, kamu mesti takut tuhan, kamu mesti buat kebaikan, bla bla bla" is basically a zero effort, while here I learned why we must love Allah. The answer for what must you do to get His help is not anymore, "Just pray." Its much more. And it consumes the scientific of the world in our religion, in Islam, which makes much more sense than empty preaches.

What I also learn was making friends wasn't as hard as losing one (Its very hard for me to lose one) so means I'm not really the empty shell in loneliness. I got a friend. I got a friend who knows a friend. I got a friend who transfered to another uni and made friends with my old friend. If that makes sense, good. I feel as though I've talked 100% more than I did when I was in elementary. And did I mention I got elected as Class Representative? Yeah, its cool.

What I loved most was that it is so much easier than high school. In other words. lesser drama, more learning. And frankly, I hate dramas unless its on tv. Real life drama is fake and annoying and just too many excuses just to create another drama. Bullshit in my say.

Instead of sulking for a bad day, I sulked for not doing my best. Instead of thanking God for passing the test, I want more. I'm not done. Will do much better, and will try much better.

The bad thing was, studio sucks because there are so many people more fucking talented than I am, and much cooler than me too. Apart from that, I've enjoyed my stay.

Wanna watch these 7!

NOWHERE BOY
Ok, its impossible that any other Beatles fan in the world not to be looking forward to this. Aaron Johnson as John Lennon, Thomas Sangster as Pail McCartney, Sam Bell as George Harrison, Kristin Scott Thomas as Mary Smith and Anne-Marie Duff as Julia Lennon. A biopic mainly on John Lennon and how The Beatles started. As a big fan (thanks to my dad for the influence), this is a must! Ah, so excited! Directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, screenplay by Matt Greenhalgh and memoir by Julie Baird)

THE GREATEST
Ok, I must have something for Aaron Johnson as he is in this movie too. This movie was released last year but it was so hard to find it here! A story about a brief relationship between Rose (Carey Mulligan) and Bennett (Aaron Johnson). Bennett passed in an accident but Rose remained safe, which Bennett's mother, Grace (Susan Sarandon) solely blamed her on her son's death. Bennett's father, Allen (Pierce Brosnan) though trusted Rose who is pregnant of 3 months. Directedand and written by Shana Feste.

PEACOCK
Now here is where I call a great Mind Thriller. Now I'm feeling I'm watching every Susan Sarandon's movie as she's in this on. What are the odds for the linking? Anyway, A Nebraska bank clerk finds his tenuous grip on reality slipping after a freak train accident reveals his deepest secret to the entire community. John Skillpa (Cillian Murphy) is a reserved bank teller living in the tight-knit community of Peacock. He may live by himself, but he's never alone; John has two personalities. His alter ego is Emma, but Emma has always been a well-kept secret -- until now. When a passing caboose jumps the rails and comes slamming through John's backyard, the neighbors all race to his aid and are surprised to find Emma wandering about dazed and confused. Instinctively assuming Emma to be John's wife, they rally around the Skillpas in support. But the harder they try to get closer to Emma, the deeper John slips into psychosis. The key to his mystery-shrouded past resting in the hands of young, overburdened mother Maggie (Ellen Page), John finds his two personalities clashing as his fragile deception becomes ever more difficult to maintain. Susan Sarandon, Keith Carradine, Bill Pullman, and Josh Lucas co-star. Directed by Michael Lander, written by Michae Lander Ryan O'Roy.

BRICK
For the love of Joseph Gordon Levitt he is too cute! And this film was released in 2005. I'm breaking a leg to find the DVD and its tough as it is one of those underrated movies. Now what you see in stores are merely blockbusters. The lonely teenager Brendan (Joseph Gordon Levitt) finds his former girlfriend Emily (Emilie De Ravin) dead in the entrance of a tunnel of sewage and recalls her phone call two days ago, when she said to him that she was in trouble. Brendan, who still loved Emily, met bad elements of his high-school trying to contact her, and when he succeeded, she told him that she was OK. He hides her body in the tunnel and decides to investigate the meaning and connection of four words, including "brick" and "pin", that Emily told him to find who killed her. Using the support of his nerd friend Brain (Matt O'Leary), he successively meets the small time drug dealers Kara (Meagan Goode), Dode (Noah Segan), Brad Bramish (Brian White), Laura (Nora Zehetner) and Tugger (Noah Fleiss), to reach the teenager powerful drug dealer The Pin. Slowly, Brendan unravels the motives why Emily was killed and plots a revenge. Directed and written by Rian Johnson.

BRIGHT STAR
Everybody loves a good love story and the fact that its a true story just wanna make you snuggle in smile. A secret love affair begins between 23 year-old English poet, John Keats (Ben Whishaw), and the girl next door, Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish), an out-spoken student of high fashion. This unlikely pair begin at odds, he thinking her a stylish minx, while she was unimpressed not only by his poetry but also by literature in general. However, when Fanny heard that Keats was nursing his seriously ill younger brother, her efforts to help touched Keats and when she asked him to teach her about poetry he agreed. The poetry soon became a romantic remedy that worked not only to sort their differences, but also to fuel an impassioned love affair. When Fanny's alarmed mother and Keats' best friend finally awoke to their attachment, the relationship had an unstoppable momentum. Intensely and helplessly absorbed in each other, the young lovers were swept deeply into powerful new sensations, "I have the feeling as if we're dissolving," Keats wrote to her. Together they rode a wave of romantic obsession that only deepened as their troubles mounted. When Keats fell ill a year later, the two young lovers faced no marriage but separation. In Keats' own poignant words, "forever panting and forever young." The drama based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25. Directed, written and screenplay by Jane Campion and biography by Andrew Motion.

LOVE AT FIRST HICCUP
Everybody loves a good teen romance and this is by far the absolute perfect compared to other's teen romance we have today. Very real, very fresh. LOVE AT FIRST HICCUP is a charming, innocent, and intelligent romantic comedy about the freshman Victor who has contracted a case of Anya-itis (acute and incurable love-passion for high school senior Anya). And why shouldn't he? She is beautiful and popular. Rich but incredibly sweet with a rare innocence. In other words: Way out of Victor's league. Unfortunately Anya also dates a rich guy, Peter, who drives a fancy lotus and has a stuffed Gucci wallet. However chance meetings riddled with awkward hiccups soon makes sparks fly between Anya and Victor. Maybe Victor's shy and goofy charm can beat out Peters arrogance? Don't worry, seems typical but watch the trailer, you'll see what I mean with real and fresh. Directed by Barbara Topsee-Rothenborg, writen by Soren Frellesen and Barbara Topsee-Rothenberg and book by Dennis Jurgensen.

WELCOME TO THE RILEYS
Ah, I wanna watch this one badly! Looks good! Starring James Gandolfini as Doug Riley and Melissa Leo as Lois Riley, a married couple who had lost their teenage daughter. Doug went on a business trip to New Orleans and met with a teen stripper, Mallory played by Kristen Stewart. He cared for Mallory as she somehow sees his daughter in her and through her he seeks salvation. He was on the road to pick up his life and his wife's back on track, moving on from their trapped life through Mallory. Directed by Jake Scott and written by Ken Hixon.

Cant wait to watch all these!

The Day I met THE ONE - Fossil

I've never dreamed at all that I would meet Fossil. Usually, I went by Fossil without even a glance.

I ran into Alpha Angle and decided a person who screamed annoyingly "Murah kak murah beli beli!" shut off my feeling on even buying a small stiffin
g shoe. I mean this is not the night market so don't make it sound like one. I don't know why the mak cik's even bothered to see whats there. If it were mama I would certainly hear "Tak mau lah, semua orang dah beli, tak kan nak sama ramai-ramai. Nanti orang tau beli dekat mana, harga berapa. Tak sedap lah." Love my mum for her enclosure towards this because true, I have seen 20 person on the Cashier buying the same frigging bag and you don't really want to have the same frigging bag as those 20 people. If you do, then you need to imply a serious ego boost.

Going out of Alpha Angle, empty handed but a McFlurry Oreo. Oh just so lovely! Sarcastically but McFlurry Oreo IS good.

I wasn't satisfied. I haven't met THE ONE. So I said to
my sister, "Ain, hantar pergi Wangsa Maju station LRT, nak pergi KLCC. Sorang." Yes, alone I went to the Shopping Lobby of the Twin Towers Kuala Lumpur. I walk and walk and see I see, windows by windows. House of Leather was the first store I've entered. Cute guy, cute stuffs, but not THE ONE. It was pretty but you know when there were pretty things you just go 'Meh'.

I went out and saw a store named Fossil, and remembered how mama wanted a bag from the store. I was curious, pretty meh or pretty wow? And there I see it. A Camel colored Kenya Clutch, sitting there smiling as heaven throned my snugglish heart. Oh my oh my! I checked on the price, frigging RM 239! In my mind, "Matilah aku kalau beli ni!" The shop assistant gave me a good news, "This one we have promotion for 30%. And the promotion starts today until the end of August." Was I lucky or was I lucky?! But then, I have shoes to take care of. Darn it! I left Fossil, feeling sad. But then heads up high, I will find T
HE ONE, even if it feels I have left it at Fossil.

I went to Everlast, oh my my, cute shoes. And somehow, it pulled me to buy those simple shoes. Because it was incredibly comfy! Chaching, goes my money. Okay, now what? Okay, I went to Kinokuniya. Wanted to find 'Water for Elephants from Sara Gruen'. Last month, it was sold out, and it was again, luckily, a new arrival. Yay! Chaching no 2, book!

But I still can't get off my mind on Fossil. The clutches at Isetan, Guess, Parkson, Harrods, British India, House of Leather, Roxy just doesn't sum up to the precious Camel Clutch in Fossil. I started counting and counting and WHAT THE HELL, I'M BUYING THAT BEAUTY!

Maybank, I went. Money out money in. Done. And there I was back at Fossil. "I want this," I said to the shop assistant. "After discount will be RM 167," took it obviously and I went out of Fossil a happy girl.

And thats the story on how I met Fossil. Below is the pic of the precious camel Clutch, THE ONE. :)

What's up with people downsizing those in the city?

Okay, I've heard loads about people downsizing them who lived in the village areas and most of the time, they are proven wrong and ended up looking like an idiot doing so. It was always "Even if we live in village areas, does not mean we are much less than you in the city."

Well, I'm not arguing but I just wanna say to those in the village area, "THE SAME GOES TO YOU!"

I mean WTF do you think all city people don't know how to read the Qur'an? Do you think all city people snobs when they speak another language lets say, English? Do you think they don't know anything about being independent since they lived in the city?

F it! Its a give and take situation. Stop stereotyping! Even if its faster, its a lame way to say you look down on people! I've had this situation before and if we city people don't look down on you, you don't look down at us! These situation I have proves that everyone is idiotic!

Situation 1
I have an Indian friend who in my entire life of knowing her had only spoken in English with me. And the counter attack of a girl who always find ways to say I look down on her for living in a village said "Dulu aku malas nak layan kau sebab kau bajet speaking..."

Situation 2
I have a Qur'anic Reading Test and a girl who always emphasize that she's not a real city girl said to me, "Boleh ngaji tak?" I said "Tak, tengah uzur tapi niat belajar atau zikir boleh je kan?" And she said again, "Tak, maksud kita awak boleh baca langsung tak?" WTF la wei!

Situation 3
I'm living in a dorm. And here's this girl who said over and over again how her house is made only from wood said, "Aku memang dari form 4 dulu duduk dorm. Kau sekolah biasa kan, mesti tak pernah lepas dari ketiak mak. Kau tau basuh baju tak?"

Yes I depend a lot on my mom and dad but what makes you so different than I am since every money you have during the period of living in a dorm is from your parents. And yes, I do know how to clean my own cloths thank you and my cloth that you borrowed stinks as hell when I got it back! Yes, I do know how to read the Qur'an, rusty but I still do know how to read it! Yes I use English while speaking sometimes, is that an awfully wrong thing to do?

Seriously, in conclusion, humans aren't that different at all, wherever you live. Stereotyping is bad, so don't you ever do it! We city people and you out there, respect between the two is getting thinner and its getting on my nerves because I never feel the effort to look down on you.

Guy's Games

It recently occurred to me (when chatting with Natalia till late night) that boys loved playing games especially when the subject is GIRLS. This is the thing that bugs me, like I hate boys, when will they grow up being men?! And no 30 does not consider men if you're still playing this shit.

Okay, what the hell am I ranting about. Here's the deal, boy A said he likes me. Hell he even stalked me to my house! Damn it, I shouldn't write my phone number! He scares me a lot. But then, again and again, he finally gave up. Suddenly, boy B started calling me, confessing that he likes me since a long time ago. I said, No, not interested. He calls day and night. Like fuck shut it!

So when I was having this same subject of conversation with Natalia, I remembered Boy A and Boy B were friends. And how could it be coincidence that after Boy A gives up, Boy B shows up. So it came up with pretty nasty set up that those 2 boys are just playing 'Who gets the girl'. A friend told me once this had happen. Where they pick a girl, and bet who'll get the girl.

Fuck! Stupid bozos, nudging me with annoyance! Thank God my senses told me that this guys aren't of my interest that I allow myself to strictly say No. If not, I'm just apart of some huge bitchy game!

Boys, Grow up!

Stringy Options

You don't know what you'll get so just abide yourself with plenty of options and while one hits, you have nothing to lose so go on. There are so many strings attached to life. Not only love and family hits your guard up, but the representations of memory and experience itself. I myself wonder how foolish people are but then it green lighted to me the occurance of no choices because the fill with only one road which they thought was best. Note to self, there are no best choices, just good ones and when sometimes one looks better than the other, it could be the other way with another step ahead.

Skins - A UK Series

Skins was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!
This is why I loved You Tube, they allow you to see shows you thought you would never see.
I'll put on a picture and trailer below.
Its not just the sexy scandals or the cute butts or the gay kiss (that is one hell of a hot kiss!), its the drama that looked so real.
Everyone in here is a mess, and I think this is the original 'KAMI' that debuted in Malaysia.
I'll let you guys feast your eyes with the Sexy Unrated Trailer first. Then we'll discuss the characters.

Now, meet the AWESOME character!

Tony Stonem (Nicholas Hoult)
Tony is a first class womanizer, a wanker. He has the looks, the brains, the charm and the girl. Though he doesn't care about his girlfriend, doesn't really care about the world, all he only care was that life is a game and he's playing it well. As for what his girlfriend Michelle said, he only cared about his sister, Effie who for Tony, knows him best.

Sid Jenkins (Mike Bailey)
Sid is a lack of confidence, pathetic, paranoid kid who sees his best friend Tony as an idol who has everything. Even his dream girl Michelle. Sid is still a virgin and somehow he waits for Michelle to one day actually love him back. Sid's life is a big mess and he stutters his words on it. Sid never trust himself where he only do is when he messes up.

Michelle Richardson (April Pearson)
Michelle is Tony's girlfriend who always lie to herself that she was Tony's only one. Michelle has a stepdad (had two stepdads) who is 7 years older than her, which she hated. Michelle always said that she would look shaggable so Tony would always shag her. Michelle also knew that Sid was fairly in love with her.

Cassie Ainsworth (Hannah Murray)
Cassie is a blonde, happy girl with eating disorder, where she can't stop eating when she does. Cassie has been in therapy for awhile and told herself again and again that she's fine, which she wasn't. She haven't been eating and only took pills and drink water to survive. She had a few hallucinations due to the pills. She has a thing for Sid.

Chris Miles (Joseph Dempsie)
Chris uses viagra daily just because he likes it. Chris was considered the clown of the group. Although, behind the mask, Chris was very lonely, a bastard of his parents. Even his mother abandoned him. He now only lives with a gold fish. Chris likes his psychology teacher, Angie and stood by her everyday to get his shot.

Maxxie Oliver (Mitch Hewer)
Maxxie is openly gay and is comfortable with his status. He is a phenomenal dancer and wanted to be a dancer one day. Maxxie is somehow the gay slut, as he sleeps with every guy that wanted to. Maxxie is best friends with Anwar, a Muslim boy, who shuts down on him sometimes for his sexuality. Maxxie is also good in Arts and kept a portrait of everyone in his book.

Anwar Kharral (Dev Patel)
Anwar is an Indian Muslim, but doesn't live like one. He prays 5 times a day, but never really know why. Anwar has always been best friends with Maxxie but Maxxie's sexuality worried him as he is a Muslim. Anwar's dad is very strict but always obeys his mum. Anwar believed in his God but never really applied them on a practical way as he does coke and smoke pots.

Jal Fazer (Larissa Wilson)
Jal is a rich girl whose father doesn't care to look at her as she was similar to her runaway mum. Jal is the most understanding friend of the bunch and she never protest on being herself. Jal plays the clarinet for her college and was very good at them. Unlike Michelle, Jal never showed that she was the hottie under the clothes she was wearing but deep fact, she is.

I assure you guys the series is awesome and YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!
The series doesn't lie.
And I don't lie too, this time.
:)

One Day's Hectic - Shouldn't be long, but dizzy

July 7th 2009
Very Hectic, I mean very in the School of Taman Melawati
First off, SPOT CHECK! SPOT CHECK!
Everyone were everywhere to hide their phones.
It was already giving you head ache as people were so 'cuak'.
Stop cuaking!
Recess came, YAY!
Ate and ate, worry on nothing, phone is safe.
Then two 'lovely' (note my sarcasm) ladies abrupt in a bitch fight.
A bitch fight is only when bitches howl to each other on their rights, FYI.
One of the girls was somewhat similar to a girl caught on hysteria.
Best scene? Tolakan Rohana... Ghaha!
She's the teacher (crazy ones) and she pushed one of the girls away, hard.
Fatin, Diba and I re-enact those moments, oh how it looked so 'real'!
Then naik, go back to class.
KECOH KECOH!
WTF?
Boys were fighting, hitting, blood everywhere, you get the idea.
Teachers put out the Surah Yassin on speaker. It was still hectic though.
Teachers were using uncensored words to students.
Aiyo... To adapt all that in one day is pretty magnifyingly dizzy!

My Attempt to Repel Compliments

Not working, sigh.
Its too much a flutter I might say to receive a compliment.
But damn my nose will flare whenever I receive a compliment.
For me, a compliment is like a decease, I don't wanna die because I feel I'm too good.
Worse, if I die thinking I was good but I was never.
Ah, people thought compliments are great, wow, sheesh, but I see it as a total drag.
I like to feel "Why?" when people compliment me, so it doesn' t get to my head.
I might be the embarrassed whore for flaring my nose too big.
Sigh, I need to repel, REPEL!

Me and The Small Dog - Kejadian di Jalan G

I wish I could bring him home! He's a little Terrier with brown, black and dark brown fur. I saw him after my tuition at Jalan G. He was somehow lost and lonely. He looked at me with sad eyes. Look at his chocolate mousse! How cute! Squish! Squish! (FYI, the dog looks kinda like the one in the picture) But sadly I can't and shouldn't even be thinking about it. So goodbye little terrier. :(

Funny how human works

It always amazes me how they, humans never admit their mistakes. And quite clearly to repeat them for all they know that it was sin. Fine, you say, we're human, we make mistakes. But to repeat them with honor? That's a low class joke. Humans, its such a lie when they say they don't know the difference between good and bad because I seem to think its on a human's nature to know whats good or bad. Then, why the repetition of mistakes? Because they saw the enjoyment of mistakes. It is almost an addiction once a mistake is taken twice. Don't lie when you say you don't know that it was a bad thing you did because you do, you just didn't care. For all I know, only malfunctioned brained people couldn't differentiate good or bad. Normal humans didn't care if they made sin, because they only somehow see the fun in it. Oh, my they must never think of heaven, where almost all happiness in the world couldn't be compared to a second in heaven, a side of God. Quit believing in, "We're humans, we make mistakes." Its supposed to be these words we say, "I'm human, I made a mistake, never should I repeat them again." No one is perfect but do not intensify perfection into making non-eligible sins. What happened to our human today? What happened to perfection of minds of a human compared to other living? Keep saying that you made a mistake, but never you dare to stop making the same mistakes. This is a message for fellow residents of the world, as I claim every human to have the sanity on good and bad. Choices has to be made, and fortune in this realm are never as good as heaven by God's side.

Poem - A Fool of A Friend

Its important to understand what life is
But you, for many other are just foolish
People say the truth but you bow away
While when a lie is told, you never stray
Its hard to say whether you understand or not
All you do is your own plot
Caught by the sin and feel the quest
While satan is burning on your nest
See clearly my dear as you do not live long
Or to be honest you are not that strong
See and feel not by the damage
But for the purification of white image
Do understand I am not you
So what she's been saying was only for you
If God is willing, I'll choke myself out of your life
So I could live on my long strive
Love does not complete a world
Love compliments life in a swirl
You compliment me in so many ways
But sometimes I felt it kinda waves
Sometimes you care, but only for sake
There is no love for what used to be on cakes
See my dear see as the end waits
That you only leave a bit of traits
I wrote this poem not for me
But just for you to clearly see
You are human so open your eyes
Life is no joke, nor just meat and pies.

Guys are your Gods if you're Juana

Based on The Pearl, a literary by John Steinbeck (author of East of Eden, James Dean.. Gosh) and the lowly obedient Juana. Seriously, you'll say you'll never be Juana at all cost. You'll say its not good if a guy hurts a girl by one bit but on the other bit, you're still a puppy dog lingering by his side. Now, Juana is very obedient, even if during the time when Kino hits her for the mighty pearl, she didn't rush for a fight. Some say its because she knows her husband and he'll hurt her more bad if she did fought back. True true, but how many here knew in deep of the guy they love like Juana knew her husband? A severe 1 year of knowing the guy does not consider knowing. Juana had been married to Kino for a long time and she knew who her husband was, she sees the good side of him for a very long time, a measured husband to her, a loyal father to Coyotito. Now what do you know of the guy you love apart of whats his name, what is his likes and dislikes, where does he live and his Spacebook password? That is not knowing the person. Knowing a person means you see the good in him, not because he helped you in things, but you see it grow from the bottom of his heart. Loving a person means (one of a thousand meanings that is) feel grateful that he is for you and only you. I know, to love a person is to look pass his flaws, but what if those flaws make you bleed? Is it nessesary to live by the rule of unconditional love? Apparently, you are not qualified for it or any love story of all sort of matter. Juana lived by the rule of uncoditional love because she knew the husband, she cares for the husband, she knew what the pearl had made him and she knew who her husband of many years is. So shame on you if you say Juana is stupid to let Kino hit her, as for I, I thought Juana was right to be quiet, because she still see the good in Kino and if bleeding was nessesary to bring the old Kino back, then she wil, which she does. Its harder to find the eyes like Juana and by all means, girls left out the love for the lust. Now, lust is subjective, so lust does not always mean sex. Lust could have been pondering on the same jerk, lust could have you gravel for his money, lust is subjective. So if you are in Juana;s position that knew and love your husband dearly, you'll be obliged to make him your God (not literally, god is Allah). And if you are with a god, you've clearly took all the 7 heavens in hand.
